The adult education system provides that adults can attend at distance a part of the educational period of the course requested at the time of enrollment, up to 20% of the total number of hours of the same educational period.
The mix of online and face-to-face learning programmes gives people the opportunity to train when they have time, especially for those who have a job or other commitments but also to have social interaction with the other students and the teachers.
Distance learning also contributes to the personalization of learning pathways and to the development of digital competence, recognized among the key competences for lifelong learning.
Remote learning constitutes regular attendance for the validity of the school year. The periodic and final assessment tests are carried out in person at school.
