IRED is a REGIONAL CENTER FOR RESEARCH, EXPERIMENTATION AND DEVELOPMENT.
Its creation has been promoted by the Ministry of Education since the school year 2016/2017. It aims to become a reference point in the field of education and training in the sector of lifelong learning, as well as a place for the development of education, research and economic activity: the three sides of the so-called “knowledge triangle”.
Activities
The project aims to develop the following actions for the enhancement of the CRRS&S Puglia:
- training planning and evaluation research
- training, cultural and professional updating of school staff
- methodological and disciplinary innovation
- didactic research on the different values of information and communication technologies and their integration into educational processes
- educational documentation and its dissemination within the school
- exchange of information, experiences and teaching materials
- integration between the different articulations of the school system and between the different training systems, including professional training.
System actions to enhance the CPIA as a Service Structure:
- analysis of the training needs of the territory
- construction of adult profiles defined on the basis of the needs of the social and work contexts
- interpretation of the skills and knowledge needs of the adult population
- onboarding and orientation
- improving the quality and effectiveness of adult education.
Aula Agorà Condivisa
The Regional Center for Research, Experimentation & Development (CRRS&S) IRED of Puglia has recently experimented with a new teaching methodology with a andragogical approach called Aula Agorà Condivisa. It is a learning environment capable of supporting a variety of diversified operations, taking advantage of the flexibility of the furnishings and the mobility of technological devices. In summary, the teacher designs the setting and supports the educational activities that are student-centred, individually or in groups. The classroom thus becomes a virtual space into which students – physically present – from distant environments can converge simultaneously.
