CELI
(ITALIAN LANGUAGE CERTIFICATES)
CELI are certificates attesting Italian language knowledge and communication competence. They are valid both in the employment and academic spheres.
There are three types of certifications:
- Traditional CELI: they are certificates of Italian language competence in general;
- CELI a (adolescents): they are certificates of Italian language competence for adolescents between 13 and 17 years of age;
- CELI i (immigrants): CELI i are certificates of Italian language competence aimed at adult immigrants. They are designed to facilitate integration.

CPIA LECCE: CELI Test Center
The CPIA Lecce is a Test Center for the issue of CELI Certifications for the CEFR levels:
- CELI 2 (Level B1 of the CEFR)
- CELI 3 (Level B2 of the CEFR)
- CELI 4 (Level C1 of the CEFR)
- CELI 5 (Level C2 of the CEFR)

On the day of the exam, bring your valid identification document.

The exams will take place at Ugento location of the CPIA Lecce:

How to enrol for exams
- Register for the exam using the CPIA website. In the application for enrollment in the course it is necessary to: select the path “Ampliamento – corsi brevi; indicate your preference for the time slot and location of attendance; tick “Lingua Italiana CELI Liv. B1” in the Corsi section.
- After a few days, you will receive an email from the CPIA secretariat containing the application for registration for the requested exam, to be completed and sent together with a copy of a valid identity document and the tax code by the date indicated in the same email.
Registration requests must be sent by email to lemm31000r@istruzione.it, no later than the indicated deadline.It is not possible to access more than one level in the same session.
In the booking email it is necessary to attach:
- Registration form
- Copy of identity document
- Copy of the Tax Code
- PAGOPA payment and sending payment receipt
Once the booking email has been received, the CPIA secretariat will send the PAGOPA payment form already completed and headed to the candidate. The candidate can therefore proceed to make the payment and send the receipt to lemm31000r@istruzione.it within the deadline indicated in the email.
